Bills place Percy Harvin on reserve/non-football illness list

Percy Harvin

Percy Harvin made yet another attempt at playing in the NFL this year after retiring earlier in 2016, but once more a season has been cut short for the talented wideout.

The Buffalo Bills announced Monday that Harvin is done for the season after being placed on the reserve/non-football illness list.

Harvin, who has battled through painful migraines his entire career, once again was unable to practice or play this year with the debilitating malady.

“He was doing whatever he could to try to play, but I don’t know if that was in his best interest,” said head coach Rex Ryan last week, per the team’s website. “We were trying to make sure he’s well.”

He appeared in just one game this year for the Bills, catching two passes for six yards.

After starting his career with so much promise as a member of the Minnesota Vikings, it’s safe to say Harvin’s career is over at this point.
