Andrew Luck cleared concussion protocol, full participant in practice

Andrew Luck

Andrew Luck is no longer listed on the Indianapolis Colts’ injury report heading into Monday night’s game against the New York Jets. As noted by Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, this means he has been cleared after being on the NFL’s concussion protocol since the team’s Week 11 game against the Tennessee Titans.

The Colts desperately need Luck back behind center. They were helplessly inept on offense against the Pittsburgh Steelers with Scott Tolzien playing in Luck’s stead, scoring just one touchdown and turning the ball over twice (both Tolzien interceptions).

Through 10 games this year, Luck has thrown 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions, leading Indianapolis to a 5-5 record until being injured in Week 11.

Heading into the upcoming road game against the Jets, Indy is a game behind the Houston Texans in the AFC South, with the Titans being a half-game ahead in a very crowded race for the divisional crown.
