The Indianapolis Colts are at home hosting AFC South rival, the Tennessee Titans, this Sunday. They got the game off to a tremendous start with an early touchdown, and then Frank Gore was the beneficiary of a trick play that set them up for a second first-half touchdown.
Gore took the snap, handed off to quarterback Andrew Luck, pretended to block then slipped out of pass protection where he ended up wide open in the left flat. The defense was fooled, and then Gore did the rest.
TRICKERY IN INDY!
Gore takes the snap.
AND catches a 49-yard pass from Luck. Wow. #TENvsIND https://t.co/GcS8IikvJy— NFL (@NFL) November 20, 2016
The 49-yard reception set up the team’s second first-quarter touchdown — a two-yard strike from Luck to receiver Donte Moncrief — that gave the Colts a 14-0 lead.
