After scoring his first collegiate touchdown, Arizona freshman quarterback and Los Angeles native Khalil Tate had a little fun at the expense of USC, tossing up the “Fight ON” hand signal in the direction of the USC bench.

Tate, a 17-year-old quarterback who prepped at USC feeder school Serra in Gardena, California was offered a scholarship to USC in last year’s recruiting cycle as a wide receiver.
After signing with Arizona, Tate entered the season as the Wildcats third string quarterback. Following injuries to Anu Solomon and Brandon Dawkins, Tate was tabbed to make his first start against his childhood team, the USC Trojans.
A family reunion of sorts, Tate faces a Trojans team that has nine of his former teammates on the roster.
USC is currently up 21-7 with eight minutes left in the first half, so perhaps Tate should worry more about closing the gap than trolling the Trojans from here on out.
