Report: Todd Marinovich facing up to three years in jail for drugs, nudity

Former NFL and USC quarterback Todd Marinovich could be looking at up to three years in jail stemming from an incident in August.

Marinovich was found naked in someone’s backyard, and police found drugs and drug paraphernalia, including meth (more on that here).

According to Joshua Suddock of the Orange County Register, Marinovich is being charged with “unlawful public nudity, attempted aggravated trespass of a dwelling, trespassing with intent to interfere with business, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.”

The five misdemeanor charges carry a maximum sentence of three years in the Orange County Jail. His arraignment date in court is November 9 this year.

This is far from the first brush with the law for Marinovich, whose drug problem has haunted him since his playing days in 1990s.
