The Buffalo Bills have apparently had a change of heart. They are cancelling a workout, and as such, won’t be reuniting with Karlos Williams, as had previously been thought.

After initially reporting that the Bills were going to work Williams out on Thursday, Ryan Talbot of Newyorkupstate.com reported that the team cancelled the workout.

The running back was released in the preseason by Buffalo. The Bills selected Williams in the fifth round of the 2015 draft.

As a rookie in 2015, he rushed for a solid 5.6 yards per carry, totaling 517 yards on 93 attempts. Williams added seven touchdowns.

The young running back was just reinstated from the suspended list after serving a four-game ban for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
