Wednesday is pretty much the day you want your injured players on the practice field. If they sit out, it doesn’t bode well for their chances to play the following weekend.
In a surprising move on Wednesday, a day full of major surprises at quarterback, Baltimore Ravens signal caller Joe Flacco is not practicing.

There’s no indications as to why Flacco is sidelined, but this most definitely isn’t good news for a Ravens team that has lost three consecutive games. Flacco did miss the final six games of the 2015 campaign with a torn ACL. Though, we’re most definitely not going to speculate here.
If Flacco were unable to go Sunday against the Ryan Mallett would get the start against a New York Jets team that’s now going to ride with Geno Smith under center.
