Carson Palmer misses second practice in a row with hamstring injury

Despite being assured just three days ago that the Carson Palmer injury was “not serious,” new reports out of the Arizona Cardinals practice are cause for concern regarding the Cardinals star quarterback.

Palmer dealt with what was described as a strained hamstring that he initially injured Monday night against the Jets, an injury Palmer himself said was just “cramping”.

While Palmer isn’t practicing today for the Cardinals, the hope here is that this is merely a precautionary measure due to the short turnaround from the Monday night game to Sunday.

Palmer has been struggling some of late, as his age(36) and history of lower body/leg injuries (two torn ACLs) may be contributing to what has been seen as a very disappointing season for the Arizona Cardinals.

The Carson Palmer injury saga will be one to track as the week goes on. If Palmer is held out of practice tomorrow, it could put his availability for Sunday’s tilt against the ferocious Seattle Seahawks defense into jeopardy.
