Suspended Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon simply can’t keep himself out of trouble off the field.

An arrest warrant was reportedly issued for the receiver back in August stemming from a paternity case in Ohio.

Cleveland.com’s Adam Ferrise is reporting that the warrant was issued after Gordon allegedly failed to respond to “several” subpoenas in a paternity case.

It apparently involves a woman by the name of Christina Lockhart, who alleges that Gordon is the father of her now one-year-old daughter.

“Subpoenas were sent to Gordon in Los Angeles, and several Cleveland addresses. Gordon never responded to them, according to court records,” Cleveland.com reported on Wednesday. “Gordon was ordered to provide a DNA sample to the court by Sept. 25, 2015, but never did so.”

Gordon is currently suspended for four games after repeated violations of the NFL’s substance abuse policy. It remains to be seen if this case will impact his return to the gridiron next month.
