WSU’s Logan Tago arrested on felony charges for assaulting a man for beer

Washington State linebacker Logan Tago was arrested Monday after allegedly assaulting and mugging a man of his beer.

According to PullmanRadio.com, Tago is being charged with “2nd degree robbery and 2nd degree assault following a lengthy investigation.”

The incident in question allegedly occurred on June 4 this year when a man told police he was mugged while carrying a pack of beer.

Allegedly, Tago and a group of other young men demanded a beer. When the man would not give in to their demands, they allegedly beat him and took off with the beer, leaving him with a concussion.

After months of investigation, the Pullman Police department obtained enough information to positively identify Tago as one of the men and arrest him. None of the others have been positively identified.

A sophomore linebacker for the Cougars, Tago could potentially be dismissed by the program, though disciplinary action has yet to be taken.
