Report: Lady Gaga to perform at Super Bowl LI

Pop artist Lady Gaga nailed the National Anthem in Super Bowl 50. Now, Gaga fans who could not get enough will get to enjoy an encore. She has reportedly been booked for the half-time show performance in Superbowl 51 next year.

According to Us Magazine, Gaga has officially signed up to perform at NRG Stadium, home of the Houston Texans, on February, 5, 2017.

Considering what she had to say about being asked to sing the anthem, we can ascertain that she must be absolutely thrilled to perform in February.

“This is one of the highest honors of my career,” she explained at the time, per Us Magazine. “I get a chance to sing for all the athletes — who have been working so hard their whole lives for this moment — the coaches, as well as the fans in the stands who are waiting for this moment. I think it marks what being an American is all about.”

The Super Bowl is one of the most viewed events aired on national television. Now that Gaga has been confirmed, the ratings for the halftime show should be through the roof.

It should be an incredible show considering the dramatic theatrics typically staged during her concerts.
