The New England Patriots fortunately have 10 days to sort out their quarterback situation.

In the meantime, it is encouraging that quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo might be ready to play in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Garoppolo injured his shoulder towards the end of the first half in last week’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Rookie Jacoby Brissett took over and the Patriots beat Miami, 31-24.

On a quick turnaround week, Garoppolo remained sidelined during the team’s Week 3 Thursday Night Football game. Meanwhile, Brissett led the Patriots to a surprising shutout contest against he Houston Texans, 27-0.

If Garoppolo is not quite healthy enough to suit up in Week 4, the Patriots appear to be in fine hands with Brissett under center. He sustained a minor thumb injury in Thursday’s game. But it does not look to be anything too serious according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

The bottom line here is practically anybody the Patriots start at quarterback has a great chance at leading the team to a win.

The Buffalo Bills are certainly beatable in Week 4. And, in Week 5, the long-awaited return of Tom Brady will finally take place. He will look to record his first win against the Cleveland Browns. How ideal is that?
