As a Major League pitcher and former All-American receiver at Notre Dame, Jeff Samardzija can certainly be labeled a two-sport athlete. That makes him a natural person to ask about former NFL player Tim Tebow and his quest to play in Major League Baseball.
Samardzija was asked such a question Tuesday. His response could definitely be labeled as salty.

As a pitcher, Samardzija is certainly used to throwing the occasional brush back pitch. We can now clearly say that he can do that with his words, as well.
Samardzija was a receiver at Notre Dame from 2003-2006. While he likely would have been selected in the 2007 NFL Draft, he opted instead for a career in baseball.
