It’s going to take some big plays for Ole Miss to take down Alabama. Apparently receiver Demore’ea Stringfellow got that memo, because he made a spectacular catch over a defender in the second quarter.
The Rebels led 7-3 midway through the second quarter when quarterback Chad Kelly launched a deep ball down the middle. It was a jump ball that could have gone either way, but Stringfellow would not be denied.
Catching the ball at its highest point, he came down on his back with a thud and the defender on top of him yet still managed to hang onto the ball.

This excellent effort helped put the Rebels up by seven over the Crimson Tide. Ole Miss kicked a field goal a few plays later to take a 10-3 lead.
