Crazy scene in Charlotte before Panthers-Vikings game

The National Football League might very well have an inferno ready to burst at the seams in Charlotte.

Just hours before the Carolina Panthers are set to take on the Minnesota Vikins at Bank of America Stadium, the scene itself seems to be something out of a Hollywood blockbuster.

It’s not. It’s real life with what could be real life consequences moving forward on the day.

Unless you have been hiding under a rock for the past week, you know exactly what is going on down in Charlotte.

Protests and riots have broken out on a daily basis following the police-involved shooting of Keith Lamont Scott on Tuesday.

These protests have taken often violent turns with authorities and those speaking out against police brutality clashing on the streets.

It got to the point earlier in the week that the NFL and Panthers were seriously considering moving Sunday’s game from Charlotte.

Though, that never came to fruition.

Now, leading up to Sunday’s game, the scene outside Bank of America Stadium has to be worrisome to the league.

This comes amid reports that protesters were planning on blocking fans from entering the game. That in and of itself could lead to confrontation with authorities in Charlotte.

We will surely keep you updated as more information comes out in the lead up to this afernoon’s game between two title conference contenders.
