Charlie Whitehurst: ‘I’ve never met anybody in this locker room’

Clipboard Jesus is surely going to be meeting some new friends on his Cleveland Browns squad.

The recently signed veteran backup may also have an opportunity to take the field with his new teammates a some point this season.

Though, the quarterback might want to introduce himself to a few players before that takes hold.

That’s right, Charlie Whitehurst has never met a single player in the Browns’ locker room. It makes us wonder whether the Browns actually exist.

Cleveland was forced into signing Whitehurst after the team lost Robert Griffin III and Josh McCown to shoulder injuries. Now Cody Kessler’s primary backup, there’s a good chance the veteran may actually see the field this season.

Should that happen, he might very well be shaking hands with members of the team he’s never met.

Only in Cleveland.
