WATCH: Jadeveon Clowney treating Saints offensive linemen like rag dolls

Jadeveon Clowney

Houston Texans outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney could end up being one of the greats if he can stay healthy. After missing the first preseason game due to minor knee soreness Clowney made his presence known on Saturday night against the New Orleans Saints.

He made a couple of offensive linemen look like rag dolls on two separate plays.

Here is Clowney going up against offensive tackle Zach Strief, who got absolutely tossed.

You’d think Saints head coach Sean Payton might have been inclined to pull Brees after this play to preserve his health.

But no. He did not.

And it’s a good thing Brees is flexible because he got hammered again when Clowney took on offensive tackle Andrus Peat and threw him aside like he was a 50-pound sack of rice.

If Clowney can stay on the field to join up with J.J. Watt (whenever he returns) and Whitney Mercilus, Houston’s pass rush will be a magnificent sight to behold in 2016.

On the other side of the field, Brees must be happy to have escaped this game alive and that he won’t be seeing Clowney again this season unless the two teams meet up in Super Bowl LI.
