Report: Teams interested in trading for Darren McFadden

Darren McFadden

NFL teams in need of upgrading at running back have reportedly reached out to the Dallas Cowboys inquiring about Darren McFadden, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

Per the report, the Cowboys want to keep McFadden on the team. McFadden had a stellar first season in Dallas, recording over 1,400 total yards. It was the first time since 2010 that McFadden crossed the 1,000-rushing yard plateau.

Now that the Cowboys have stud first-round pick Ezekiel Elliott and former Pro Bowler Alfred Morris on the roster, it’s not surprising that other teams are inquiring about McFadden.

It will be interesting to see if the Cowboys change their stance in the days leading up to the regular season.
