First, reports said that Bryan Stork was released by the New England Patriots. Then, news broke that he was traded to the Washington Redskins.
The latest news comes from former Redskins tight end and current ESPN Radio host Chris Cooley indicating that Stork is retiring.
This belief was backed up by Chris Russell of 106.7 The Fan in D.C.

Given how fast this has all changed, this is undeniably one of the stranger NFL sagas we’ve seen in a while.
Stork is only 25, and just two years ago, was the primary starting center on a team that won the Super Bowl. Last year, he played in eight games for the Patriots after dealing with concussion issues.
At the very least, this story is not anything that can be ignored at this point. If Stork is indeed remains retired, it will be interesting to see what reasoning he gives. Though, said concussion issues could be the cause.
