Patriots reportedly trade Bryan Stork to the Redskins

In an interesting turn of events in regards to former New England Patriots center Bryan Stork, it would appear he was traded rather than released on Wednesday.

This report by NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport confirms that the Patriots traded the third-year center to Washington for a conditional draft pick.

Either way, the Patriots moving on from Stork is still a somewhat interesting move. Stork, an original fourth-round draft pick, started a total of 17 games for the Patriots.

Though, in analyzing the situation, an earlier report suggested that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady actually preferred David Andrews as his starting center.

Stork is a one-time Super Bowl champion that will now be competing to start in his new digs in Washington.
