Does Jordan’s new Russell Westbrook ad take shot at Kevin Durant?

If you ask Oklahoma City Thunder fans, Kevin Durant ran from a challenge when he jumped ship and signed with the Golden State Warriors this summer. A new Jordan ad featuring Russell Westbrook appears to capitalize on that sentiment.

It’s no secret that Westbrook is bitter about watching his longtime companion ditch him and the Thunder.

He was reportedly “ticked off” about it, and his commitment to the franchise was made all the more evident when he signed a long-term extension shortly afterwards.

Interestingly, Durant would not congratulate Westbrook on his new contract. It’s also been reported that Durant told Westbrook he would return to the Thunder.

With this in mind, it seems quite clear that this new ad is absolutely a shot at Durant.
