Indians make history in win over the Twins

The Cleveland Indians 9-2 victory on Thursday over the Minnesota Twins might look normal. In reality, it was history making.

The Indians got home runs from starting first baseman Carlos Santana, second baseman Jason Kipnis, third baseman Jose Ramirez and shortstop Francisco Lindor.

Cleveland also got outfield assists from left fielder Brandon Guyer, center fielder Rajai Davis and right fielder Abraham Almonte.

In the history of Major League Baseball, such a game has never taken place.

When you watch a baseball game, you never know what you might see. Anyone at this game saw something never before done — something that may never be done again.

The win also stopped a three-game losing streak. The historic win, coupled with the Detroit Tigers’ 6-3 loss at the hands of the Chicago White Sox, put the Indians three games ahead of Detroit in the American League Central.
