Saric, 22, was a first-round pick of the Orlando Magic back in 2014. He was then immediately traded to Philadelphia in a draft-night deal.
There had been some concern that the 6-foot-10, 243-pound power forward would remain in Turkey as a way to avoid a smaller payday upon coming to the states. That no longer appears to be the case.
Saric will now join a loaded Philadelphia frontcourt that includes young stars Nerlens Noel, Joel Embiid, Jahlil Okafor and 2016 No. 1 overall pick Ben Simmons.
His presence could also mean that the Sixers will attempt to trade either Noel or Okafor before the start of the 2016-17 season.
In reality, that would be the best bet, especially with the team needing to add more talent at the guard positions.
Saric averaged 11.7 points and 5.8 rebounds for the Turkish team Anadolu Efes this past season.
