Jim Kelly is no stranger to fighting cancer. Sadly, according to his wife, Jill, Kelly is back in the hospital, undergoing a biopsy after inconclusive scans.
Obviously, as Mrs. Kelly said, the best thing that anyone could hope for would be no cancer. The fact that he has to even continue testing is just sad. It’s sad whenever anyone hears that cancer is a possibility, and clearly, Kelly has been through this enough.
Finding any silver lining in situations like this is nearly impossible. If there is anything to draw from, it’s the fact that Kelly is experienced in dealing with cancer. If he indeed has it again, Kelly knows better than most just everything that goes into fighting this awful disease.
For now, though, we’ll just all hope that none of it comes up and that it’s nothing more than a big scare. Kelly may know what goes into fighting cancer, but he’s done it enough in recent years.
