“Why would he do this?” you might be asking yourself.
The fifth-year quarterback was in defense mode after former Indianapolis Colts teammate turned ESPN NFL analyst Matt Hasselbeck made some headlines saying Luck prided himself on not showering on ESPN’s Mike and Mike in the Morning.
“He’s kind of like a college kid still,” Hasselbeck said. “Does that make sense? He takes pride in not showering kind of thing.”
Given the copious amounts of sweat that pours out of Luck’s body when he plays, we surely do hope he’s being honest about showering twice a day — for his sake, and for the sake of his teammates, friends and family.
Stank ain’t grand, despite what Joachim Lowe would have us believe.
