Matthew Dellavedova is an NBA champion now as a member of the 2015-16 Cleveland Cavaliers, but he isn’t adverse to a bit of extra work.
Delly went undercover as “Hugh” at a local Panera restaurant, much to the delight of the customers, who soon recognized him for who he is. Perhaps a year ago he could have gotten away with his undercover gig unrecognized, but winning a championship took that off the table.
One of the reasons he was there was to have a meal with a family that won “Dinner with Delly.”
Earlier this season, he was voted by his peers as the dirtiest player in the NBA. Now they can all eat their hearts out while he enjoys the fruits of his championship.
