After suiting up in an NFL uniform for the last 22 years, legendary quarterback Peyton Manning is now looking forward to kicking back and watching the game.

“I’m really excited about having a free fall (season) for the first time in 22 years,” Manning said while at a charity golf tournament, per The Denver Post.”

On his Manning’s agenda for the fall are some games at the University of Tennessee, where he played his college ball. He also plans to watch some Broncos games and attend the Indianapolis Colts’ 10-year reunion of their Super Bowl championship game, per the report.

Plus, Manning wants to watch his little brother Eli in action as well.

“I’m going to see my little brother play in some normal games as opposed to always seeing him play in a Super Bowl where you can’t breathe until the last play.”

To clarify Manning’s statement, he has watched Eli play in two Super Bowls that took place in 2007 and 2011. But Manning’s sentiment regarding watching Eli play is sweet.

Regarding Manning’s future beyond the 2016 football season, many speculate that he will eventually continue with a career either in commentating or coaching. Although at this time, it would appear Manning is content to just enjoy the spare time he finally has after spending over two decades on the field.

“I got a full plate of football and saw it from lots of different angles. I’m very much at peace with it. I’m actually kind of looking forward to this fall and having a little free time.”

We wish Manning our best especially when he returns to watch the Broncos, who have yet to determine a starting quarterback, play this fall. Perhaps in the meantime he can enjoy some of the beer made in his honor.
