Ex-NFL CB Stanley Wilson II shot while trespassing naked

Former NFL cornerback Stanley Wilson II was shot by a Portland, Ore. homeowner on Wednesday who found him trespassing naked and burglarizing the home.

Wilson was found by police in a water fountain in the backyard of the home, per kgw.com, and was taken into custody. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries from being shot and was treated at a local hospital.

“Wilson has been accused of first- and second-degree attempted burglary, and first- and second-degree trespassing. The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected,” per the report.

It’s not known why Wilson was naked when he was discovered in the home.

After playing his college ball at Stanford, Wilson was selected by the Detroit Lions in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played three years in Detroit before being released in 2008, and he never played professional football again.
