Apparently, the folks managing the bird-themed NFL team Twitter accounts have too much time on their hands.
The Seattle Seahawks started the Twitter fest when they pinged the Philadelphia Eagles with this video.
We spotted a convocation of eagles during todays practice, these yours @Eagles? 🤔https://t.co/RiEBAECFnj

The Eagles took the bait and threw in this old Paris Hilton apologizing meme.
.@Seahawks you caught us. pic.twitter.com/TeoGGv8FQh

Apparently the Seahawks aren’t keen on spies because it is “ill-eagle.”
.@Eagles You know spying is ill-eagle, right? pic.twitter.com/6Bx8p5hHxE

Not to be the odd bird out, the Falcons (aka dirty birds) retorted with this attempt at humor.
.@Seahawks come on, @Eagles. That's Falcon ridiculous. pic.twitter.com/vDSnRJOKfP

Somehow the Baltimore Ravens caught wind and posted their vicious-looking mascot.
.@Seahawks @AtlantaFalcons @Eagles Please. You can't get more majestic than: pic.twitter.com/bXobfKhjzC

Seattle fought back with this cryptic-looking tweet.
.@Ravens @AtlantaFalcons @Eagles If we're talkin birds.. pic.twitter.com/Xd7DutJZRn
— Seattle Seahawks (@Seahawks) May 25, 2016
The Eagles jumped back with their two cents.

The Twitter bird-fest finally died down some, but as we can imagine, fans became involved.
Sadly, the Arizona Cardinals were not invited to play along. Or, perhaps they actually had better things to do than engage in this silly stream of tweets regarding which team is “top-bird” in the NFL.
