James Harrison announces return to Steelers with Instagram post

NFL Draft

James Harrison announced his decision to return for another season in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday with a simple message on his Instagram account.

“I’m back,” Harrison’s post reads, with the caption, “I’ll be 38 on Wednesday and I’m feeling just like a fine wine. Getting better with age.???.”

Harrison, at the age of 38, is still one of the scariest players on the field on any given Sunday.

He lives up to his nickname, “Silverback” by maintaining a powerful physique that is capable of making NFL offensive linemen look absolutely silly at times.

He can also lift more weights than you.

Harrison finished the season last year with 40 tackles and five sacks. He’s not a guy who’s going to be at his best playing 60 snaps per game anymore, but he’s still good for a big play on third downs.

More than anything, Harrison’s intensity and attitude will be a driving force for Pittsburgh’s defense, which needs to improve after falling into the bottom half of the league last year in the wake of Troy Polamalu’s retirement.
