Atlanta’s new stadium to keep low pricing for Super Bowl LIII

Embrace The Suck Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons new Mercedes-Benz Stadium will proudly host Super Bowl LIII in 2019 after a league-wide vote awarded the city the big game on Monday.

It now appears that the stadium plans to honor its fan-friendly concession prices that includes ultra-cheap $2 hot dogs and $5 domestic beers during the Super Bowl itself.

This is a bit of a relief considering the cost of stadium tickets to attend a Super Bowl can amass some folk’s housing payments.

It’s also a dramatic shift from previous Super Bowls. This past season’s annual event in Santa Clara saw a slice of pizza go for $10 and domestic beer cost $13.

Super Bowl LIII will be played in 2019, nearly three years from now. So the promise by MB Stadium to offer their affordable concessions is quite commendable.

The stadium itself is set to open in 2017.
