Once a promising young running back for the Dallas Cowboys, Joseph Randle found himself behind bars for the sixth time in 17 months after failing to appear in court.

Randle was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail in Kansas early Sunday morning, and his bail was reportedly set at $150,000, per Drew Davison of the Dallas Star-Telegram. Davison notes it is unclear what the previous charge is related to. His previous charges are as follows, per Davison:

“He posted bail last week after being charged with three counts aggravated battery, one count of drug possession (marijuana) and one count of criminal damage to property on Feb. 21.”

The former Cowboys running back has spiraled out of control since being cut by the organization last November after an altercation in a Kansas casino.

Owner Jerry Jones has related his sadness at Randle’s fall from grace multiple times. His latest comment came just last week when he vehemently denied any knowledge of Randle’s alleged gambling on NFL games prior to his release.

Randle’s outrageous and violent behavior has led many to believe he suffers from CTE, and it mirrors that of ex-Detroit Lions receiver Titus Young.

Unfortunately, the science of this disease isn’t as far along as it needs to be to discover it before a person takes his or her last breath, so at this point any talk of CTE being behind Randle’s actions can only be considered conjecture.
