Kobe Bryant receives tremendous gift from ‘media’ member

Kobe Bryant has likely received thousands upon thousands of gifts throughout his legendary NBA career, but you can bet the one he received from a “media” member on Friday was unique.

Baxter Holmes of ESPN shared this image, showing off the a picture of the gift, which one assumes is supposed to be Bryant wearing a Black Mamba-themed samurai outfit, complete with dual katanas:

Bryant and the rest of the NBA’s top players have arrived in Toronto for All-Star Weekend. It’s his last go-round, and interestingly enough he’s favored to win the MVP Award, which would be an All-Star Game record fifth award for him.

For his part, Bryant says it’s not a particularly big goal for him, as he’d much rather just soak up the experience one last time.

The rest of us likely would love to see the Black Mamba come away with the award, regardless of how much, or how well he plays. At the very least, though, he’ll come away from the big event with treasured memories, and the gift, which is priceless.
