WATCH: Jordan Spieth not happy with ‘weak’ start to AT&T Pro-Am

Jordan Spieth knows he let one get away from him Thursday in the opening round of the 2016 AT&T Pro-Am at Pebble Beach.

Finishing the day at one under par, tied for 64th place, Spieth expressed his frustrations with his round, which he called “a bit weak,” per golfchannel.com.

As Spieth pointed out, he played the hardest holes on the course at four under par but failed to take advantage of some of the easier holes, going three over par the rest of the way.

He has a lot of work to do to catch up with leader Chez Reavie, who scorched Pebble Beach with a eight-under 63.

Of course, if his putter works like this the rest of the weekend, he could certainly claw his way to the top:

Spieth, who made history last year with his play in the four majors, is one of the game’s great players right now. He and the rest of the world’s best are having some fun in the midst of competition this weekend at the Pro-Am, but things are about to heat up in a big way in the coming months.
