Despite a crummy 7-9 season and reports that their best player plans to hang it up and retire, the Detroit Lions will reportedly raise their ticket prices for 2016.
According to Dave Birkett of The Detroit Free Press, season tickets will range in price from $399 for the Roar Zone and up to $2,238 for premium level seating. While nonseason ticket costs would range from $517 to $2,506 for the same sections.
So Lions’ fans are now going to have to pay even more to watch one of last year’s losing teams likely minus Calvin Johnson in 2016.

Per the report, president Rod Wood promoted the fact the new ticket cost will still “rank in the bottom third of all NFL teams and is one of the best values in the league.”
This is definitely taking the glass half-full approach when it comes to pricing out NFL tickets for this fall.
