In case you haven’t heard, Flint, Mich. is in the midst of a horrible water crisis. Ziggy Ansah wanted to do something to help out, so he helped bring in 94,000 bottles of drinking water to assist the folks who have been afflicted by the lead-poisoned water.

He didn’t just send the water. Ansah arrived with the water and helped unload it all, too.

This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen NFL players helping out, though this effort significantly ups the ante. Washington Redskins players, led by Terrance Knighton, sent 3,600 bottles of FIJI water to Flint a couple days ago.

The water in Flint has been contaminated by lead since April of 2014, via Jessica Durando of USA Today, and has been recently bumped up to a federal state of emergency, which freed up around $5 million in federal aid.

Thanks to the efforts of men like Knighton and Ansah, people are getting the help they need, but so much more is needed.
