Rex Ryan mum on whether LeSean McCoy left Philadelphia with Bills

LeSean McCoy

Somehow Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy made his way back from Philadelphia to Western New York, though Rex Ryan won’t confirm the transportation details.

“You know, I’m not going to get into all that kind of stuff about, you know, is this right? Is that right? It is what it is,” Ryan said, per Jay Skurski of the Buffalo News. “I’m not going to say if he did or he didn’t.”

Last Sunday, McCoy faced his former team and coach Chip Kelly when the Bills fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 23-20. Upset after the loss to the franchise that abruptly traded him in March, McCoy immediately bolted off the field after the finish of the game.

Perhaps too distraught over losing to Philadelphia, he skipped out on a welcome home party at the B-Side Hookah Lounge ex-teammate Jason Peters arranged.

With the party scheduled to take place between 10:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. ET, the Bills team plane would have already departed. Ryan not disclosing whether or not McCoy was on that plane or if he stuck around his old stomping ground to blow off steam is typical of the coach’s mysterious aura.

McCoy had rallied the support of his Bills’ teammates to give their best efforts to help beat his former team, but the Bills fell short and Shady’s whereabouts after the game remain a mystery.
