WATCH: Will Blackmon intercepts Eli Manning on crazy tip-drill play

During Sunday’s game pitting the New York Giants against NFC East rival Washington, cornerback Will Blackmon came down with a crazy interception on a tipped pass from Eli Manning to Dwayne Harris.

Harris almost came down with Manning’s pass into tight coverage but was absolutely rocked by a defender. The ball popped out and Blackmon made an acrobatic play to come down with the ball.

Harris was injured on the play and wasn’t moving for a while. Thankfully he did walk off under his own power, but he won’t soon forget that brutal blow he endured on the interception.

It was the second turnover of the game for Manning — neither was his fault — and gave Washington excellent field position, which the franchise couldn’t capitalize on with a blocked field goal a handful of plays later. Ultimately, the two turnovers made no difference at all in the early outcome, and the score was 0-0 following the failed field goal attempt by Washington.
