Bills fan posts Craigslist ad seeking new QB, with ‘Madden’ experience

The Buffalo Bills are losing with error-prone, backup quarterback E.J. Manuel, and one fan is apparently sick and tired of it.

His anger reached a tipping point, whereupon he posted a satirical ad — Bills logo and all — on Buffalo’s Craigslist seeking a new starting quarterback who has “Madden” experience, among other things:

“Immediate temporary opening: Starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills

Requirements:

-Must have some football experience either in Madden NFL 16 (Xbox or PlayStation), peewee football, high school, college, or at the professional level.

-Must be able to work irregular hours and work week. Typically Tuesday-Friday, Sunday, occasionally Thursday, and some holidays.

– Must know general rules and laws of the NFL
—————————————–

Additional skills needed:

– Must be able to withstand constant criticism and belittling

-Must be able to throw football deep, accurately, and consistently (preferably no turnovers)

-Must be able to withstand a constant pass rush from the opposing defense”

The Bills blew a 27-3 lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars during Sunday’s London game, causing visceral reactions from their fans around the nation.

Some yelled loudly at their televisions while others likely blew off steam by drinking themselves into a stupor. Others, like our friend here, took to more creative ways to display their disdain for Buffalo’s stinker of a performance.

Manuel turned the ball over three times and allowed the Jaguars defense to run it in twice for scores in Sunday’s defeat, 34-31. It was a terrible performance that had everything to do with the win. I guess Rex Ryan was right about Tyrod Taylor being the better man for the job.

Sunday’s loss follows the 34-31 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals — Manuel’s first start in place of Tyrod Taylor, who was sidelined with a sprained knee.

It should be interesting to see if the Bills have any random applicants while they take a much-needed bye in Week 8. Jokes aside, the Bills desperately need Taylor to return to action in Week 9 when the team faces the revamped Miami Dolphins.
