Someone who knows a thing or 10 about sustaining concussions in the NFL is Washington Redskins injury-prone quarterback Robert Griffin III.
Griffin had an interesting answer when reporters from TMZ Sports asked what he thinks about actor Will Smith’s new movie, “Concussion,” which deals with the heated topic of how the NFL handles concussions.
“I don’t know what [the movie] is going to entail, but I’m sure it’ll make a lot of people mad. … Show ’em what it’s really about to have those kind of injuries.”
“Concussion” will air in theaters in December. Since the trailer was released, the movie has garnered plenty of attention, and the creators appear to have walked a fine line to not overly criticize and anger the NFL.

When RG3 says people will be mad, he is likely referring to the NFL brass.
Plus, considering the heat Griffin took a couple weeks ago when his comment about feeling like the best quarterback in the NFL was misconstrued, keeping his response to TMZ’s probing quite simple was probably wise.
Griffin deserves credit for handling this situation properly.
