Rex Ryan not over Tom Brady’s butt-kicking of the Bills

Two Sundays ago, the New England Patriots reigned victorious over Rex Ryan’s Buffalo Bills, winning 40-32 in Western New York.

Speaking about the Bills upcoming game against Eli Manning and the New York Giants, Ryan took shot at Tom Brady and made it apparent that he isn’t over the fact that his team lost to the Patriots (via Tyler Dunne of The Buffalo News):

“I like the fact that he (Manning) beat (Patriots passer Tom) Brady twice. I like that. I’m not all the way over the Brady butt-kicking he did against us.”

Ryan also said that “our emotions got the better of us” and that he liked how the Bills fought back against a team that was “clearly trying to embarrass us.”

Talk about needing to move on. This was two games ago and it’s time to build a bridge. Perhaps vengeance will be Ryan’s in Week 11 when the Patriots host the Bills for another gritty competition.

It appears it wasn’t enough for Ryan that the Bills just came from completely destroying the Miami Dolphins 41-14 this past Sunday. Doesn’t Ryan think the Dolphins might have thought the Bills were trying to embarrass them?

The Bills will have the opportunity to try and claim win No. 3 at home against the Giants this Sunday. If they do, Ryan will only be one win shy of his total four from last season coaching the New York Jets.
