Brandon Jennings calls Meek Mill’s career “finito”

Rappers Drake and Meek Mill are engaged in a cute little beef that’s led to multiple diss tracks, and Drake has apparently dominated the battle so much that Brandon Jennings believes Meek Mill’s career is “over” and “finito.”

According to TMZ Sports, the Detroit Pistons point guard said he feels sorry for Meek, whose career “just got started and now it’s done.”

A clearly forgiving man, though, Jennings didn’t rule out a return to Meek’s music.

“I mean, I love music. I love artists. So, I mean, if it’s hot, it’s hot. But for them to come at me… it ain’t my beef. Like Drake said, you did that to yourself.”

It’s another funny moment in the saga, since Jennings recently offered Meek $150 to stop rapping.

On a basketball note, Jennings’ career took off in 2014-15 before an Achilles injury prematurely what was amounting to a personal-best campaign. He’ll now play alongside midseason acquistion Reggie Jackson.

The Pistons hope that—unlike Drake and Meek in the rap game—Jennings and Jackson can co-exist on the court.
