The NFL has methodically extended its brand into London, and the organization has no plans to leave England soon.

According to a release from soccer club Tottenham, the team’s new stadium that is set to open in 2018 will host at least two NFL games per season.

Per the release, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said:

“With growing enthusiasm for the NFL in the United Kingdom, we are committed to hosting NFL games in world-class venues and are excited to partner with Tottenham Hotspur to play games at their future stadium. We share a vision and commitment to creating the best experience for our teams, fans and the local community.”

Tottenham’s field will include a tremendous feature: The grass field used for soccer matches will retract to reveal an artificial surface for football, which will allow the stadium to seamlessly switch sports without replacing the whole field.

The mock-up of Tottenham’s stadium is incredible, too. Be sure to check out those pictures.

During the 2015 season, the NFL will showcase three games in London.

In Week 4, the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets will meet. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills will follow in Week 7, while the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions finish out the International Series in Week 8.
