Knicks Fan Puts Team’s No. 4 Pick Up For Sale on Craigslist

A creative mind with a lot of time to spare can create some wonderful things. That’s what an unnamed New York Knicks fans did while posting an ad to Craigslist on Tuesday.

And it’s awesome:

Talk about attention to detail.

According to various reports, the Knicks are contemplating trading out of the fourth pick when the draft comes calling on Thursday. If so, this fan made sure to cover all bases.

Though, the inclusion of Drew Gooden, Marcus Fizer and Eddy Curry as three players who have in the past been picked at No. 4 probably won’t be a good selling point for any potential suitors.

The shade thrown in the direction of Knicks owner James Dolan and president Phil Jackson is real here:

“Right now we’re looking to unload an unnamed aging Spanish point guard (for privacy reasons specific details must be kept confidential) as an attachment to this pick,” the fan wrote. “If you’ve seen our history working together as a group, you know that we don’t mind getting the worse end of the deal if you’re willing to take the players we no longer want.”

This could be in reference to the team trading J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert to the eventual Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers for a bunch of scraps back in February. Of course, with this current version of New York’s front office, it’s hard to point out one specific trade.

Either, way there is nothing better in the basketball world than a disgruntled Knicks fan.
