Tom Brady’s Former High School is Praying for Him

New England Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady could be in some hot water due to recent findings in the Wells Report, which links him to “probably” having knowledge that the team was using deflated balls in the AFC championship game. While most of the world other than Brady’s father is hating on him, his former high school remains faithful in its former student.

Reporters from TMZ Sports contacted staff from Junipero Serra High School in California where the tri-sport athlete graduated back in 1995. Their general consensus was that the “real” Brady is a gracious and caring person and is not the manipulative cheater that the Wells’ report indicates he is. Here is what the school’s president Lars Lund and retired chaplain Fr. Joe Bradley had to say of Brady:

The Brady’s are an important part of our community, and we will keep them in our thoughts and prayers as they move forward through this difficult time.

I have great respect for Tom and his entire family. He has a generous spirit and a caring heart. His willingness to reach out to the Padre community is legendary, but always offered with joy and humility.

Also reported was that the school had no plans of removing his name from the school’s Hall of Fame.

There we have it. While we do not know how much weight Brady’s former high school carries in clearing his name, it is a nice sentiment at the least.
