Tim Tebow Considering Attending Veteran Combine

Some people just don’t know how to give up on a dream. Whether that’s a good thing is up to individual interpretation.

Former Denver Broncos first-round pick Tim Tebow still wants to play in the NFL, and is reportedly considering attending the first ever veteran combine later this month (via the Boston Globe).

Tebow, currently a college football analyst for ESPN, last played a regular season game in the NFL back in 2012. The former Heisman winner has actually tallied 29 total touchdowns compared to nine interceptions in 14 career starts. He also boasts a career 8-6 record with a playoff victory.

With that said, the questions surrounding Tebow’s game translating to the NFL ended up being warranted. In fact, he played more tight end and special teams than quarterback with the New York Jets in 2012.

Tebow has reportedly been working on his passing skills during his time out of the league. Attending the veteran combine would enable the former Florida standout to work out in front of 32 NFL teams. It could be his last realistic opportunity to latch on with a team.
