If we were able to ball like this in high school, we probably wouldn’t have been forced to take our distant cousin to the prom.
High school baseball player Jay Deshong made potentially the greatest catch we will ever see on a baseball diamond. It happened when a teammate from D’Iberville High School in Mississippi saw the ball bounce about 60 feet off his head before Deshong tracked the ball down to make the catch.
The amazing thing here is that the outfielder actually had the baseball smarts to get the ball back into the infield to complete the extraordinary double play.
Talk about taking a header for the benefit of the team.
