New University of Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh is college educated. He spent many years in the state of Michigan, and he understands full well the socioeconomic climate in the state.
When asked if he’s worth the $5 million that Michigan is paying him annually to be the school’s football coach, Harbaugh answered with an abrupt “no.”
When asked to give it back, Harbaugh continued:
I like making a buck just like the next guy…so to answer your question honestly, I would have to say no.
While this interview wasn’t meant to be too serious, it’s interesting that Harbaugh bluntly answered that he’s not worth the money.
Following his lucrative deal, Harbaugh is now the highest-paid public official in the state of Michigan.
Talk about priorities for the downtrodden state.
