Odell Beckham Jr. Named AP Offensive Rookie of the Year

In what can’t be considered much of a surprise, New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. won Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year award at the annual NFL Honors ceremony in Glendale, Arizona.

Playing in just 12 games this past season, Beckham Jr. finished with 91 receptions for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns. His average of 108.8 yards per game led all NFL receivers.

In addition to putting up some ridiculous catches throughout the season, the first-round pick was as consistent as could be throughout his rookie campaign. He tallied six-plus catches in each of the Giants’ final nine games, recording 100-plus yards seven times in the process.
