Marshawn Lynch Gets Simpsons Treatment

The Simpsons is America. Since its inception in 1989, the iconic cartoon has been a fixture in households, making generations of Americans laugh year after year.

The opening sequence of this show is also among the most popular in the history of television. It includes Bart writing a different phrase on a chalkboard while in detention every episode.

Leave it to the Internet to combine this great show with the antics of one Marshawn Lynch.

The only thing missing here is Marshawn’s gold cleats and Roger Goodell looking over him while the Seattle Seahawks running back writes the same phrase over and over again. Other than that, it’s absolutely perfect.

If you remember, Lynch showed up at NFL’s Media Day on Tuesday (a requirement) and answered every question by saying “I’m just here so I won’t get fined.”

Is Lynch NFL’s version of Bart Simpson? That could very well be the case. If so, what does this make Goodell? Mr. Burns?
